Trotsky Finance is an independent notebook about macro, options tape, positioning, and the stories traders tell themselves when price refuses to cooperate.
The market produces more information than anyone can use and more opinion than anyone should. This notebook exists to slow the process down: identify what moved, examine the evidence, and separate the useful signal from the explanation that arrived after the fact.
That means paying attention to positioning, volatility, liquidity, and the tape without pretending any one indicator is an oracle. Some posts will be quick field notes. Others will pull a market idea apart piece by piece.
Markets are not obligated to honor a good argument. The work is to notice when the facts change—and to change with them.
